There is also another image, of the M Monochrom in silver as found on their site here (up top) which is a duplicate of the image we posted - albeit with a black background.

The only difference between the images is the scaling/cropping - even the background color is from OUR site! Notice the quick editing around the rear cap (we were in a hurry). Here is the image, scaled back up to the size we posted for easier comparison. Granted, we did our own Photoshopping of this image, but the point is - this one was stolen from US. Which, if you compare to the image contained in this post over on Leica Rumors, is exactly the same, only scaled down. Our story Summilux-M 28mm f/1.4 ASPH Exists! which was posted contains the following image: We just noticed a second theft of content.

This is further backed up by our server logs, which explicitly indicate them accessing our content:ĥ0.128.154.168 - "GET /content/new-walter-leica-nut-cracker HTTP/1.1" 200 8716 " " "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh Intel Mac OS X 10_9_1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/.77 Safari/537.36"ĥ0.128.154.168 - "GET /sites/default/files/Walter_Nutcracker_2.jpg HTTP/1.1" 200 147158 " " "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh Intel Mac OS X 10_9_1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/.77 Safari/537.36" After the fact, they later got permission from Walter Leica to use them. Only to be replaced by a different copyrighted image (still a violation, but not with us). A cease and desist was issued and the two images removed at 1:50pm. Now consider the image below, which is a screenshot taken from that site that clearly shows two images that no one else in the world had as they were sent to us exclusively by the vendor (Walter Pretorius from Walter Leica himself). You'll notice we used the phrase, "Exclusive news from La Vida Leica!" This was for a reason, as we broke the news.

That site ran a story called It does exist: Leica camera nut cracker that was posted on Januat 11:42am EST - which is a copy of our story called New Walter Leica Nut Cracker that was posted earlier at 10:13am. Now we've seen, directly, a second time this has happened and are going live with this story - which we've hesitated to post previously. But the thefts are blatant and obvious, and happen repeatedly. But such is the nature of the online "news" business. You'll notice that more often than not, we were first. For proof of this, look at the posts on that site, and then look at the posts on this site - specifically, the time and date of their posting. Typically it means they glom our news posts in an effort to shortcut us (they admittedly have more followers, for now) and provide content for their site. We've noticed over and over again the theft of our content by the site Leica Rumors.
